• Advertisement is published in the social media, college website, newspaper, TV, radio, etc. regarding opening of the online application for the admission.
• Candidates have to fill up and submit the online application through the admission portal.
• The shortlist for the admission is being published in the website.
• The admission committee meets a week prior to the beginning of admissions.
• Process of selection of students is done based on merit and with a consideration as per the UGC & University guidelines.
• Most of the students who are qualified for admission to any of the courses offered are accepted by the College after an entrance test and counselling as per the availability of seats & requirements of the course.
• Candidates need to submit the required documents to the institute during the admission.
• The preference of the students for their choice of subject is given a lot of weightage at the time of counselling and admissions.
• Students are offered scholarship and concession of tuition fees as per the policy of the institute.
• The students who do not get the subject they applied for are kept in the waiting list or they may choose subject from the other course preferences.
• In case there is vacancy, transfer of students from one Deptt. to another is allowed during the initial time of the academic session.

• Please note the following important guidelines:

●     No student shall be granted admission to the 1st Semester after a lapse of more than five (5) years from the date of their previous qualifying examinations (the year of admission will not be counted when calculating this five-year period).

●       The guidelines and instructions provided by the UGC regarding admission for reserved seats/quotas for ST/SC/PH/OBC candidates will be adhered to as necessary.

●       Additionally, students are prohibited from opting Major in a subject in which they have failed during the H.S. (+2) Examinations or its equivalent, even if they have later qualified the same as a compartmental candidate.

●       In case, the number of applicants for a Major programme exceeds the approved intake capacity, the College shall conduct an admission test for the concerned subject.
