BA (Major)

1. Any student passing H.S(+2) examination or its equivalent with English from any recognized Board/ Council shall be eligible for admission to the 1st Semester of B.A (Major) Degree Programme (under NEP) subject to availability of seats and restriction of combination of subjects as laid down by the University and provided that he/ she has secured in that examination, at least an overall score of 50% and 60% in the subject they wish to take major is desirable (5% relaxation of marks in case     of ST/SC/PWD).
   
   
2. Students opting for a subject which they did not have in their H.S.(+2) should have at least 65% in the aggregate to choose a Major in the concerned subject, provided it aligns with the subject combination provided by the institution.

B.Sc (Major)

1. Any student passing H.S(+2) examination or its equivalent with English from any recognized Board/ Council shall be eligible for admission to the     1st Semester of B.Sc (Major) Degree Programme (under NEP) subject to availability of seats and restriction of combination of subjects as laid     down by the University and provided that he/ she has secured in that examination, at least an overall score of 50% and 60% in the subject they wish to take major is desirable (5% relaxation of marks in case     of ST/SC/PWD)

• A candidate opting for Botany, Zoology, or Human Physiology as a Major subject in the B.Sc. Programme must have passed Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as prerequisite subjects at the qualifying examination.
• A candidate opting for Mathematics as a Major subject in the B.Sc. Programme must have passed Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as prerequisite subjects at the qualifying examination.
• A candidate opting for Computer Science as a Major subject in the B.Sc. Programme must have passed H.S. (+2) Examinations or its equivalent in the science stream with Mathematics.
•  A candidate opting for Geography as a Major subject in the B.Sc. Programme must have passed H.S. (+2) Examinations or its equivalent with Geography as one of the subjects.

 

B.Com (Major)

1.     Any student passing H.S(+2) examination or its equivalent with English from any recognized Board/ Council shall be eligible for admission to the     1st Semester of B.Com (Major) Degree Programme (Under NEP 2020) subject to availability of seats and restriction of combination of subjects as laid     down by the University and provided that he/ she has secured in that examination, at least an overall score of 50% and at least 60% in the subject they wish to take major is desirable.

Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)

1.     Candidates who have passed 10+2 Examination or its equivalent course from any recognized Board/ University with at least 50% marks in aggregate (5% relaxation of marks in case     of ST/SC/PWD)

 B.Ed

1.     The minimum eligibility norm for applying to B.Ed. Course is 50% marks in Graduation/Post Graduation degree/s. (5% relaxation for ST, SC, OBC, PWD Candidates).

2.     Also, the applicant should not be employed on any institution & must be below 37 years as on 31st July, of the current year for admission into 2 years B.Ed. Course.

    Note:

1.      No student shall be allowed for admission into 1st Semester course of studies after a lapse of more than 5 (five) years from the year of passing the previous qualifying examination.     (The year of admission shall not be taken into account while calculating five years from the year of passing the previous qualifying Examination).

2.     In regard to marks bar for admission against reserve seats/ quotas for ST/SC/PH/OBC candidate the guidelines/ instructions of UGC will be followed from time to time.

3.     A student shall not be allowed to take Major in a subject in which he/ she has failed in H.S(+2) examination or its equivalent but subsequently passed as a compartmental     candidate.

4.     Admission test be taken by the college in case the number of students seeking admission to Major programme exceeds the number of intake capacity in a particular subject approved by the University.
