About Department
The Department of Physics was
established in 2025 under NEP-2020. This department is a dynamic and
forward-looking academic unit committed to excellence in teaching. Established
with a vision to nurture scientific curiosity and analytical thinking, the department
is committed to delivering a strong foundation in classical and modern physics.
Our curriculum is designed to balance
theoretical rigor with practical application, covering core areas such as
mechanics, electromagnetism, thermodynamics, optics, quantum physics, and
electronics. Students gain valuable experience through well-equipped
laboratories, computational training, and project-based learning.
The department is led by a team of
dedicated faculty members who are passionate about teaching and mentoring
students. In addition to academic excellence, we encourage students to engage
in scientific seminars, workshops, and outreach activities that broaden their
perspective and prepare them for diverse career paths in research, education,
technology, and beyond.
With a focus on holistic development,
the B.Sc. Physics program aims to produce graduates who are not only
knowledgeable but also innovative, ethical, and socially responsible
contributors to the scientific community.
